Ballowall Barrow

Ballowall Barrow is a historic burial mound situated near the village of St Just. Set in a magnificent location looking southerly towards Land's End, the site dates back to the Neolithic and Bronze Age period. As with many of these sites, it was ignored, lost or forgotten until found under some mining rubble during the industrial period. William Borlase was instrumental in it's survival, but also did some reconstruction on the site.
