Well it might be optimistic to say that spring is coming in a Blog dated February. This time last year we were being bombarded with the strong winds and tides. This year seems colder than most winters, but at least so far it is tamer than last winter. The February half term is within a few weeks and although it is not particularly a big week compared to the other half terms, in terms of holiday breaks to Cornwall, it is when most holiday parks start to open up for the year. Talking of Holiday Parks our featured park is Hoburne Doublebois.
Cornwall is delightful whatever the weather and certainly some of my most memorable walks have taken place when the wind or sea is up. However, the Mawgan Church Daffodil festival and other such events, show that Spring is just around the corner and we can all look forward to the rest of the year.
