The Golowan festival is a week of musical, theatre and other artistic events. It culminates in the Mazey day parade which is a colourful carnival of marching bands and dancers with stalls.

The Royal Cornwall Show is one of the premier events in Cornwall. It is a traditional agricultural show with best of breed competitions but also encompasses trade stalls, horse riding and musical performances that will keep all of the family amused.
This traditional May day celebration is one of the highlights of the Cornish Calendar. The Oss (dialect for Hobby Horse) dances through the streets within a parade and there are a number of dances during throughout the day. There are two rival Osses, the Old Oss and the New Blue Ribbon Oss with the townsfolk supporting one of them. There is also a children's Oss Dance.
Although relatively new, the Lafrowda festival has become a highlight of the St Just calendar offering concerts, events and culminating in a colourful street parade on the last Saturday.
