Sennen is one mile North East of Lands End.
The village is split with Sennen Cove having houses around the small fishing harbour and glorious sandy beach whereas the Church and other buildings are further inland. Both Sennens beach Whitsand Bay (a good sandy beach with some larger rocks)and nearby Gwenver have exciting Waves that draws the surfing fraternity in the summer and winter.

On a hot summer night you can do nothing better than walk along the Sennen seafront from the small fisherman cottages, past the lifeboat to enjoy a drink in the Old Success Hotel and enjoy arguably the best sea sunsets in the UK. There are a few gallery and gift shops including, the round house as pictured that was once a winching house to pull the boats from the sea. There are also fantastic views of Cape Cornwall and the coastal walk between the two is dramatic and unforgettable.
