The Jamaica Inn

The Jamaica Inn hotel is located in the isolated hamlet of Bolventor, perched in the centre of Bodmin Moor on the A30 near Launceston. This historic coaching house was immortalised in Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name which cast a web of intrigue and reputation of smuggling around the Inn. Whether this reputation was true remains uncertain, but Jamaica Inn is a fine building that retains a lot of it's historic character. The hotel has 16 rooms all of which are en-suite. Some of the rooms have four poster beds that will give a historical flavour to your stay.
