The Wellington Hotel

The Wellington Hotel is one of Cornwall's oldest Coaching Inns and dates back to the 16th Century originally known as the Bos Castle Hotel the Hotel was renamed after the death of the 'Iron' Duke Of Wellington. The hotel has provided a warm welcome for centuries and past guests have included royalty and celebrities such as King Edward VII Sir Henry Irving Guy Gibson and Thomas Hardy.

The 14 bedrooms are traditional yet equipped to meet the needs of the modern world. In the morning guests may have a leisurely Cornish breakfast before a refreshing walk through the harbour and along the coastal cliff path. The Long Bar offers home-cooked food, Cornish real ales and a selection of wines next to an open fire (in the winter).
Dinner at the Wllington is popular with guests with a high standard of dining and wines. The Wellington offers a relaxing break in a building with a long history in a village renowned for it's relaxing atmosphere.
