Meadowside Cottage is situated in the hamlet of Catchall, approximately 3 miles from Penzance and 7 miles from Lands End. It affords wonderful opportunities to explore the extreme tip of Cornwall, from the rugged moors to the dramatic cliffs around Lands End. Many National Trust properties are located here, as well as many miles of coast line, where the South West Coastal path also passes through. During the summer season, the world-renowned Minnack Theatre offers a varied programme, and Meadowside is located approximately 5 miles from the theatre. It is also convenient for a one-night stop-over when travelling to or from the Isles of Scilly, with the Penzance Heliport about 4 miles away and Lands End Airport, for Skybus, about 2½ miles. Penwith is also rich in industrial archaeology, with the deep undersea mines of the St Just Mining District affording dramatic views, many years after their demise. Also not to be missed are the many prehistoric sites dotted around Penwith, from the Men-an-Tol to the Merry Maidens. Meadowside is run by the owner, and offers comfortable accommodation and good food.
